We are solving problems to build a better future with four inaugural initiatives
Connecting
Summit 250
Date: November 14-15, 2025
Partner: Society of Policy Scientists
This is a working summit to explore real solutions—and publish a post-event report with key takeaways and next steps. We will convene former federal employees, academics, civic innovators, and students to tackle a central question: how can government collaborate with the civic sector to solve persistent problems and safeguard freedomst?
We are documenting existing information and knowledge to generate new insights that can lead to meaningful action. Initiatives include:
-
Publish For 250 More Substack, with articles written by the founders of For 250 More and guest writers.
-
Consolidating on our website information gathered and developed by others that provide resources for Federal employees, data, and trackers
-
Developing new resources such as an AI prompt guide for Inspector General recommendation searches (under development)
-
Partnering with like-minded organizations to promote a transparent, effective, trustworthy government.

Providing Thought Leadership and Curating Resources

Amplifying the Voices of Experience
To preserve lived expertise—like a seed bank of public knowledge—we will interview current and former federal employees. These interviews will:
-
Connect the work of federal employees to the communities they live in and to the American public
-
Document reforms that worked
-
Capture lessons lost to retirement, resignations, and restructuring
-
Inspire future leaders by discussing what’s possible
-
Educate the public about what's at stake when we lose experienced public servants who deliver public good and services every day.
This growing archive will be shared through collaborative partnerships that invite new voices into reform conversations.
We designed our site as an information hub to consolidate links from other sites working to build and make data available in the five key areas listed below. Good data and information empowers the public, informs business decisions, and strengthens democratic accountability. It enables communities, journalists, researchers, and policymakers to engage with facts—not speculation—and to act with clarity. Topics include:
-
Consolidating Federal government data that is—or was—in the public domain.
-
Tracking information on the status of litigation, executive orders, and DOGE actions
-
Assessing the impact of changes to the workforce and federal funding
-
Documenting safeguards established for independent oversight and changes to them in the Inspector General community
By creating a more coherent information ecosystem, we aim to enhance transparency, build efficiencies, and facilitate deeper understanding of the broader picture. If you know of sites missing from our lists, please submit suggestions via our submission form.
